(25)A majority of the variable rate loans in the Company’s investment portfolio bear interest at a rate that may be determined by reference to either LIBOR (“L”), SOFR (“SF”) or an alternate base rate (commonly based on the Federal Funds Rate or the Prime rate (“P”)), which typically resets every one, three, or six months at the borrower’s option. SOFR based contracts may include a credit spread adjustment (the “Adjustment”) that is charged in addition to the stated spread. The Adjustment is applied when the SOFR rate, plus the Adjustment, exceeds the stated floor rate, as applicable.
